Datuk K denies beating

Kuala Lumpur: Datuk Khalid Mohamad Jiwa or “Datuk K” said allegations that he battered and called Muhammed Kasheef Harris Sivapatham a drug pusher were false and baseless.

In a statement Friday, Khalid said he would take civil action and would not hesitate to take legal action against Muhammed Kasheef or anyone involved in defaming him.

The businessman, who is the husband of popular singer Datuk Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin, said he believed Muhammed Kasheef was a victim of a third party with their own motive and agenda to tarnish his name.

He also regretted that Muhammed Kasheef had made baseless allegations against him after asking for his forgiveness on March 17.

On March 17, Muhameed Kasheef lodged a police report alleging that Khalid had assaulted him and called him a drug peddler.- Bernama
