Assalamualaikum flower potzz..a very good friday morning..feel so refreshed..apa tak..semalam ponteng…eehehe!jgn bilang org tau! *wink*
hmmm..i’m falling in love all over again..hey!dun jump to conclusions..i’m not falling in love with some other guy..dosa tau! but i’m falling head over heels for siti nurhaliza!yes!all over again..i’m crazy about her..but dun think pulak i’m some kind of a moron or lesbian..aku masih lurus dan setia pada suami ku… *wink*
watching her concert last wednesday was such an enjoying night for me..MARVELLOUS,MAGNIFICIENT,SUPERB,WONDERFUL,AMAZING,EXCELLENT, UNBELIEVEABLE,FANTASTIC,BOMBASTIC..dan yg sewaktu dgnnya..i’m running out of words as how to describe her performance..waiting for nearly 3 yrs to see her back in action in a solo concert and yes!she didn’t dissapoint me and her other fans who attended her concert..she proves dat in order to succeed one need not follow hollywood style..i mean gotta open here open there..open everywhere..if can dun wanna wear anything..she’s one artiste who proves that even tho’ u can’t speak good english,it isn’t a barrier for u to go international!bravo kak siti!
she’s more matured and more confident in her performance..i love the part when she wanted to sing Nirmala and she stopped a moment saying..”dahaga pulak..tunggu jap eh..nak minum air..” and she continued after that…another part was when she stopped at the end of Bukan Cinta Biasa and asking the crowd.. “tunggu apa?..hah!tunggu kawin..” and she gave a big smile…continuing her song, pointing heavenwards “menunggu jawabnya…” well done kak siti!not forgetting the accompanying band..they played the music well..power!lagu2 yg siti bawak pun ada lain sikit bunyi dia..like there’s a bit of raggae instill in it…very refreshing!and she proves she can sing any kind of song! good job!
No doubt that she’s always gonna be my idol..not as in wanting to follow her style of dressing…or copying how she looked like when she’s on stage..but to set her as an example in my daily life..her positivity and commitment in what she’s doing and her motto in life.. “tak hidup dek puji tak mati dek keji” which means no one can ever bring her down and she’ll work hard for what she wants..and she has a vision of what she wants to do next..
after nearly 10 years in the music arena..she’s still number one..i really respect her and she deserve all the popularity and awards cos’ its like a bonus upon her achievement..despite all the glamour and being a well-known person..she’s still a down-to-earth and humble person and realise that all that she has is a gift from Allah..and she still knows that “dia masih berpijak di rumput yg hijau”…
well..enough said about siti now..eheheh!nanti ada pulak yg bosan..asyik asyik siti je..but to me i will never get bored of her..except kalau dia mcm terpeleot sikit ah..ehehh!
well..gotta go now..do my work babe!
Lastly..thank u darling for bringing me to the concert..your money was well spent..i enjoyed it so much! love u syg…mmmuuuahhhhh! =)

Voice of an Angel
Thursday, July 21, 2005
It felt heavenly if you’re asking me to describe my feelings about the show.
Yes, I attended the Siti Live 2005 concert with my mum.
Not a fanboy but which guy is not an admirer of hers aye?
In Sin City, Marv mentions how Goldie smells like an angel ought to.
If I die tonight, and an angel sings for me, Siti’s voice would be the one I want to hear.
“She sings like how angels ought to sound.”
It is without a doubt that she’s the Voice of Asia.
And it is no doubt too that her fans love her, every bit.
Siti Nurhaliza had the audience eating out of her hands. Every joke, every song, every beat.
The audience lapped it up with much love and it was love that Siti gave her fans.
For someone who would prefer plays over concerts, I was blown away by her vocal prowess. To finally hear it live raised more than a few hairs on my body and I mean that in a good way.
The Shah Rukh Khan concerts cater to a niche group lah, so, technically I haven’t really been to singing concerts per se.
And I think she’s come a long way. She’s definitely able to dance better now and the timely choreography for the traditional Malay songs were perfect.
She made the audience laugh, made us sing Bukan Cinta Biasa (No Ordinary Love) and “forced” us to stretch ourselves and dance!
Despite starting a half hour late, Siti’s concert was practically flawless.
I’ve only one thing to say to Siti and that would be for her to come back again soon and I’m pretty certain there are same sentiments from everyone in attendance.

Superb Siti Nurhaliza Concert
Time & Date: July 21, 2005 @ 3:29 am
I admit I haven’t been listening to Siti Nurhaliza. Her last song I can remember and hum to is Cindai, which was very popular like fifty years ago. So if I’m not her fan, what am I doing at her concert at Singapore Indoor Stadium last night?
Well my girlfriend had a pair of free tickets. She isn’t a Siti’s fan either. But we thought it would be good for our relationship to try something new. It’s about time we go for a concert, instead of going to Hotel 81 almost every other day.
Siti Nurhaliza’s concert starts at about 8:45pm, and by then the stadium is almost full. Lots of makciks wearing tudung and horny teens. When Iskandar Ismail, the 2002 anugerah champion, appears on stage and sings, the noisy stadium goes silent. They’re wowed by Iskandar’s mighty voice. I’m wowed too. I think he’s ths best malay singer since P. Ramlee. Iskandar goes on to sing a Marc Anthony’s piece. It sounds like a malay version, though I could swear that he sings it in English. Anyway, Iskandar wow-es me again with his voice.
Finally, Siti Nurhaliza comes on stage and the crowd goes wild. She sings a duet with Iskandar Ismail - that Puteri Gunung Ledang song. The more I look at Siti on stage as she sings the more I think she looks different. She had a sunken but sharp face. Beautiful, though. Yummy. I’m fatasising about some dirty stuffs when my girlfriend points out that she’s not Siti but a Siti’s clone. She’s the winner of “Sing like Siti†contest held some time ago. Damn, I’m fooled. So is a stupid female teen who run up close to the stage and who almost jump over the metal barrier only to realise that’s not her idol. Her actions were so comical that the crowd laughed at her.
The moment we’re waiting for arrive at about nine. Siti Nurhaliza, the real Siti, grace the stage with an angel-like presence. Her acapella voice fills the stadium and the crowd goes estatic like they’re on speed. She belts out about five songs in this contemporary pop segment of her concert. None of the songs I’ve heard before, but after listening to them they make me want to download these songs. I mean buy. Respect I.P.
The next segment is the traditional Malay songs segment. Siti Nurhaliza belts out a medley of her popular “irama Malaysia†songs, including Cindai. I enjoy this segment the most. Though I love the songs she perform, I enjoy the traditional malay dance that accompany her performance in this segment. A lively, fluid dance, it almost makes me want to jump off my seat and boggie with the dancers.
In the last segment, Siti performs her “jiwang†songs. She also does an English song, and believe it or not - a Mandarin song. Her Chinese fans go wild. Almost Jay Chou-like. By now, it’s been almost two hours and my butt is killing me. So when Siti asks the fans to stand up and boogie, I stand up like a true fan and do a boogie with my girlfriend.
Siti finally says her goodbye about more than two hours into her concert and left the stage. Kiasu Singaporeans rushes to the exit only to realise that Siti returns to the stage minutes later. Siti goes on to sing Percayalah and Cindai, after giving a long and almost boring dedication cum speech to the audience.
Three hours, and it finally end. Though I’m not a Siti’s fan I really enjoyed her concert. But I’m a little iritated by her constant “I love you†and “aku cinta padamu†to the audience. I hope she means what she says, not just some public relations exercise. And sure I’ll want to go to her concert again, but only if i get free tickets.
When I’m driving home, I realise I’m humming to Cindai.
